Finally!

I got my first menstrual cup today finally, after hanging around this community for months. I just kept forgetting to order one online when I had the money I needed, and then yesterday, I saw someone said they got their Diva cup at Whole Foods. I can't believe I never noticed it before. I had the cash handy, so off I went. I was so very pleased, I was hoping the cashier would notice what I was buying so I could tell him how excited I was to be trying out a menstrual cup.

So I'm trying it out now. I have the worst time keeping it folded until I can insert it. And the directions say I should turn it once while it's in to make sure it's opened up, but I haven't been successful in doing that (though from reading another post, I guess maybe that isn't really necessary?). It's perfectly comfortable so far. I'm at the point in my period where my flow lightens up a lot, so hopefully I'll get it all figured out now and be ready for next time.

It'll be interesting to see how I do at the dojo tomorrow.
