Leaking?

So for the past few days I have been insanely sick. My whole body hurt and I started throwing up. Thankfully, last night after sleeping for hours and hours on end I feel alot better. While I was sick, of course I got my period and thought everything would be ok because I had my Diva cup. I've used it plenty of times before with no problems. The first leaking episode happened after I wore my Diva Cup all night long. I woke up in the morning to find I had spotted. When I emptied the Diva cup it was completely full so I assumed maybe it over flowed. Then last night I had the same problem, I started spotting and went to empty the diva cup but this time it was only like half full. Then this morning I went to put my diva cup in and noticed I'm having problems with suction. The little holes are filled up, so I tried cleaning them out by soaking the cup for a while, but it didn't work. Could that be the problem? How can I clean the little holes out?
