Hi there, thanks to everyone who responded to my first post here!

It is now Day 4 of my period, and I've given up on the cup this cycle. I may try to resume it next time, but maybe someone can help me...

I have a really, ridiculously sensitive cervix. I had to have a colposcopy done several months ago (where they cut a few little pieces of cervix off to test for cancer; happy to say I'm cancer-free) and my recovery was not normal at all; my doctor told me she'd never in 20 years seen someone with such a sensitive cervix. I was nauseous (and threw up a couple of times) for a few days & I didn't stop bleeding from it for 3 months; I was told up to a month, but I moved after that month & had no health insurance, and didn't have the money to check it out.

I've got an appointment with an OB/GYN in a week, but in the meantime I'm having similar symptoms to the colposcopy now (dizziness, nausea, hypersensitivity on my cervix, etc), and I think it may be due to the suction from the cup, as I haven't had these symptoms from tampons/pads since the procedure (about 7 months ago). Does anyone have experience with this? I really appreciate any insight...

Thank you!
