slight cramping with diva cup

Hello, I started using the Diva Cup yesterday and so far it is going okay, but a little messy. I am having a little problem. The last time I removed and inserted it. I felt some mild cramping afterwards that lasted about 15 minutes and started to subside. It felt like menstrual cramps, but I was not having any cramps before I took it out. So I got worried that maybe the suction from  removing it could have caused the cramps. I did break the seal with my finger before taking it out. Has anyone ever had this problem? Maybe I am just being paranoid.
