convincing people that cups are NOT gross

before i had never told anyone (except my mom) that i use a menstrual cup. well today i kinda had to tell my friend and now she's all curious about what they are. i'm glad that i get to tell someone but i'm scared that she'll think that its gross or something like that. are there any things you do to make people realize that they arent gross? i told her today, "you might think its gross, but its not, its just different" so .. any tips to convince/ make her realize that cups arent gross and other tips on how to talk to her in general about cups?
