the eternal question: lunette or mooncup uk?
Hello everyone and thank you all for making this a fascinating informative forum--one I've been reading for months now. And now I'm ready to buy my first cup! I'm excited and relieved and can't wait....BUT....I don't know which one I should get.
I know, I know! You'd think I would have figured this out by now from reading all your wonderful posts and comments....I know you've all been over this a bajillion times before....so please forgive another n00b for asking. But the thing is, I have endometriosis in the cul-de-sac area and, not to put too fine a point on it, all around my vagina. So, inserting anything during my bleed has always been painful. I'm hoping the cup will be less murderous than tampons, which always give me cramps. We'll see....
So what I gather is: Mooncup UK is more flexible, but Lunette is smoother. Given that I'm 38 and have never had a child, I reckon I should go with the larger size of whichever one I order (though I'm not even sure about that, because I also have a kinda short vagina). So my question is: If you have BOTH the Mooncup UK and Lunette, AND you have a difficult-to-accommodate twat :o) which cup do you prefer? Thank you so much!
EDIT: I should have explained--I like the alleged flexibility of the Mooncup, but am afraid of being able to feel its many ridges....and I like the smoothness of the Lunette....but am afraid of its being possibly too stiff. So that is the dilemma....
