So I have days where I feel like I am bleeding to death.  I was tired of going through tampons by the boxful.  I decided it was time to get a cup.  I had tried the Instead cups years ago and liked them, but found them expensive and wasteful as well.

A few days ago, my Diva arrived.  I was so excited!

I did a dry run.  I wore it for the better part of a day before my actual period.  I found the stem a bit long so I trimmed it.

This morning, I got my period.  And I was excited!  :D  In went the cup and off to work I went.  I find that I only notice it when I have to pee and shortly after I go pee.  Other than that, I don't really know that it is there.

Tomorrow will be my bleeding to death day.  We will see how well the cup performs on the day when I have been known to go through a Super tampon in 90 minutes or less.

Is it strange that I am also excited about being able to measure how much blood I actually expel?  ;)
