Hi! So I just bought a type 1 Divacup and I'm trying it out. It was kind of an impulse buy and kind of not at the same time...meaning, I've been wanting one for years but just kept forgetting to order it online. Then, today I saw one for the first time in a store and bought it without having done much research on it since a couple years ago.

After reading through a couple of posts, I find that maybe I should have waited to buy the mooncup because they are smaller than the divas. Of course, I am finding this out the hard way now- the end is close to sticking out and I know for a fact the cup can't move up any further. I'm a pretty small person, so it would make sense that my vagina is proportionate to my frame. Unfortunately, I'm a poor college student, so buying another kind of cup is not an option. Should I just deal with it or cut the stem or something?

Not to mention, I also find it really uncomfortable and awkward to insert, and this is coming from a non-virgin. Is this something that will go away with time?
