Vanishing Cramps

For the past six years of my period life, I've had terrible cramps. I've been using the Diva cup for a little over a year now, and during that time, my cramps have almost imperceptibly lessened and vanished. I was so freaked out last month when I had no cramping at ALL. Could it be related to using the cup? I didn't even think it could be related until I was going over some entries in here today.
