Newbie with Lunette
Hey everyone, new person here. I'd read a lot about cups and thought that it sounded like the thing for me - I hate the feeling of pads and tampons always make me sore. However... (Probable TMI ahead, beware...)
I'm 19, a virgin, and have a ridiculously short, narrow, vagina. I can get one finger in perfectly comfortably, but there's no way I'm getting in two - it hurts like crazy. I can get a tampon in without trouble (though it took me a bit to learn how). Measuring with my finger, my Lunette should just fit below my cervix without sticking out. No chance of it getting lost in there... no place for it to go! lol However, I can feel that there's plenty of space inside width-wise - it's the very narrow opening that's the trouble.
When I try to put it in (using the double-punch down method, only way I've come close to getting it in, because it's the narrowest), I can get it in a little way, up to where my fingers are gripping... but when I try to grip lower, it pops out of my grip and comes open, with half the rim in and half out. Fortunately, this doesn't hurt, but it does make it impossible to put it in the rest of the way. Also, I don't know if my fingers are weak or what, but by the time I've tried a few times they ache and it takes a lot of effort to hold the cup folded - which doesn't help me not be tense.
So... I guess my question is, how do you get it in all the way without it coming open? (Oh, additional info: I am using KY, on me not the cup, and I'm not comfortable with masturbating for insertion ease due to my religious beliefs.) Is there a particular fold that works best for people who are narrow, but that is easy to grip? Any creative body positions for getting it in easier?
I know this is thoroughly TMI, but I figure y'all are used to that by now...
Thanks in advance for any advice. I'd really love to be able to use my Lunette!
