Diva Cup sits way too low!

I don't know what I'm doing wrong.  I have tried inserting the diva cup from all different angles!    It just wont stay in!  It must be something I'm doing wrong or my body just wasn't made for the diva cup.  It starts off sitting pretty high in the canal and after walking for a short period of time, it starts to poke out!  I've even cut the stem off completely and I can still feel it poking out!  Any one else have this problem?  It is so  uncomfortable!
