I admit that I am a little absentminded, and that I frequently lose things. I actually own three cups total, because I lost my first one for a couple of months, replaced that one with another, and then switched brands. This week I had lost my beloved Mooncup, and I've been hunting high and low for days. I did finally find it in a totally bizarre place, which I am actually too embarassed to share. But I had been resorting to looking in every single place in the house, appropriate or not. Lets just leave it at saying, no it was NOT in the silverware drawer. What's funny in the end is I remember now putting it in this fairly inappropriate spot because I had a nosy friend from high school days coming to visit and I was afraid she'd snoop through all my stuff in the bathroom. I have virtually no private spaces in my tiny apartment. My bathroom has no closet or medicine cabinet, and few drawers. I have no bedside table or drawer, and because it is a studio, my bed is in the main room of my place. My desk has no drawers, and on and on. I keep losing the cups because I keep moving the dang things to try to find somewhere they won't end up in the hands of bumbling guests or their children. I love having company but it amazes me how busy people's hands get when they are here, how they feel so easy at rumaging through things on my desk, my bookcase, and so on.
Anyway. I do have a question for you ladies. How and where do you store your cup? Does anyone actually use the little bags? I don't seem to have a bag for the Mooncup and can't even remember if it came with something. Mine has been running lose and wild, all over my apartment. ;-) This has to stop, so I don't spend next month looking for it like a mad woman once again.
