Has anyone tried Lunapanties for backup?

I absolutely can't stand pads of any sort.  I am an avid thong wearer and pads/liners just don't work in thongs, even the ones made for them.  I would only use tampons, and recently switched to the Diva Cup.  However, when it comes to leaks/backup, usually I just wear dark underwear and dark pants that won't stain.  I was looking on the Lunapads Web site the other day and noticed they make Lunapanties -- and even make them in thongs!  I'm tempted to try them, but they're a little pricey and I'm afraid I won't like them much.  Any experiences?
