No pain

Yay, I finally got a cup! Since I first read about cups, I've waited 2 years till I got to college. After some frusterating attempts I successfully got it in. I've read through so many posts in this amazing community but I would like some reassurance I have yet to find. I have only gone through one cycle with my Diva but after the first 10 minutes of inserting my cup each time I never felt the stem. Have others happily left the stem on? I can't imagine getting it out with out the aid of the stem. Thanks!
