Cup pushing on bladder

Okay, well I started my period today.  I have been using my Diva Cup and inserting and removing is simple and takes only moments.  No problems there.  Now, my problem is that its pushing on my bladder and its hurting pretty bad.  I dont want to damage my bladder or get an infection.  Could it be that I am wearing it to low or to high?  I have practiced and practiced and its open inside and I am having no leaks at all.  But, it hurts and it also breaks my heart since I had such high hopes for the Cup.  Its not just when I insert it, its the whole time its in.  Any solutions?
