Funk in my Trunk?

So I recieved my Diva Cup in the mail a few days ago and decided to try inserting it last night. I got it in fairly easily, with only some mild discomfort. However when I took it out, I noticed a fair amount of white discharge in and around my cup. It was a little thicker than regular discharge although not as chunky as yeasty discharge and certainly much more than I am used to seeing at once. Is this normal for a dry run? Should I hit my gyno up or is it nothing to be worried about? I haven't noticed any other problems in the area recently.
