Full cup and cramping

I don't usually get menstrual cramps at all, but I've noticed that when my cup is full I start to cramp in that I ache around the abdomen and legs and it gets progressively worse the closer my cup comes to being full, for me this is a damn useful clue that my cup needs emptying. Does anyone else find this? Any reason why it would happen?
