leaky faucet...

does anyone have tips on how to prevent the leaking that comes from outside of the cup (like residual period blood that doesn't get trapped in the cup when you insert it).

so annoying, my cup doesn't leak, but i have just tiny amounts of stowaway blood that i can't deal with.
