My first period with the cup

I keep hoping something interesting will happen so I have something to write about. But it's been much easier than I expected. This is day 2 - my heaviest day (though my periods are very light). No leaking. No pain. When I have to pee it feels more urgent or something but that's the biggest thing I notice. I even slept through the night last night with the cup in.

I'm using the Mooncup UK, and I'm in my late 30s. The biggest thing is that I'm so angry with myself for using tampons and pads for so long. I remember when I was a teenager wishing there were some way to like turn off my period when it was inconvenient and just turn it on to get rid of the blood every so often. This is almost just like this! How much easier would my life have been if I'd gotten this 20 years ago? *sigh*
