I think my local YMCA locker room would be a good place to start, but I don't want them to just get torn down. People also just leave magazines there. Do you think it would cool to leave some in women's/parenting mag's there and at my pediatricians office?

talk to the YMCA people first about it, and ask if it's ok.

hmm go to like, a kinkos or something to get it laminated or something :D
Hmm, i dont think that someone would get THAT offended, that they would want to tear the poster off...

At the YMCA, I would ask first, or they will most likely just get torn down by the management. If you ask the management first and they give you permission, they'll stay up.
And yeah, it couldn't hurt to sneak some into some magazines at your pediatrician's office. The worst that could happen is someone doesn't like the idea and either puts the pamphlet back into the magazine, or throws it in the garbage.

While I appreciate people who educate others and are comfortable taking about normally shunned topics such as menstruation, but I think it's a little much to be getting pamphlets and sneaking them into magazines at doctors offices.
