removal pain
Hey all!
I got my mooncup uk in a few weeks ago and I'm due to get my period tonight or tomorrow... I tried it out a few days ago to practice a little without worrying about the mess the first time... I got it in with the origami fold in no time with no pain at all... I already read the memories about painful removal, and I tried to remove by pinching the base and it wouldn't budge... I tried to get my finger up to the rim and couldnt really get my finger under it comfortably... I eventually got it out using two hands, but I swear I thought I was sucking my cervix out!! I even started to bleed a bit after... I think I actually poked at my cervix a bit and cut myself... OUCH!
Could it be possible that I have it too high up? I pushed it up till it wouldn't go any further because thats what I'm used to doing with my tampons... Also, I have a very short vagina so I dont know if I could really use it any lower... Thoughts, ideas? I think I'm going to go try it again in a few minutes, but I was hoping you could all help me out a bit..
Also, I have a box of insteads that are 99% full as well as a starter kit that I am NOT going to be using... my experiance with them was less than pleasant... If anyone would like them, I'll send them to you if you want... Just give me some $$ to ship them!

EDIT: it worked!! I took it out again a few minutes ago when I went to the bathroom... I had to push down three or four times to get it low enough but it worked!!! I think the fact that I'm just about bleeding (gotta love pink mucus!) helped a bit... I am sooooooooo happy it was easier this time... If it got suctioned to my cervix again I think I would have screamed!
