To preface this, I am 14 year old virgin trans man on testosterone. I have extremely heavy flow and so I decided to try a diva cup. It was mildly paonful to insert, but once I got it in, all seemed well. But, when I sat down to try and remove it, I was in a world of pain. It took me a total of an hour to get it unstuck, and I found it extremely blindingly painful to try and get the rim out. Does anyone have any tips as to how to get it out faster or less painfully, specifically the rim?

Enlarge the anti-suction holes around the rim.
Relax your PC muscle. Relax your jaw, BREATHE! Rock it out at an angle.
It's also possible that you might have a slight UTI that could cause additional pain. Drink extra water. Literally flush it out of your system.

i find that if you can manage to get a finger up there while the cup is almost still fully in, and dent it down in the middle, you can sort of fold it into the U or C fold as it comes out and its a lot smaller and less painful. that also helps release the seal for me
