Hi everyone! I have been using my cup for over three years now and I love it, but it doesn't always work the same. Sometimes, I put it in and it's like magic, I won't see a drop of blood until I take it out. Other times (like right now) it leaks constantly, now, I believe I use the cup the exact same way every single month, so if I'm not doing anything different, what could possibly be happening here? Does anyone else have this problem?
ps: I haven't been here in a long long time and it is lovely to read here and see again this community of women supporting each other

My GUESS is that your cup is right on the border of fitting/not fitting you right. Compare its dimensions and capacity using any of the MANY charts found online and figure out what changes you think you should make to work more reliably. Also consider shape. Maybe changing that would make the difference that you need.

On the other hand, if it's just residual slobber versus full blown leakage, some of us will never conquer that -- and a liner or two a day is a small price to pay for all of the other benefits of cups.

I agree with Kuradi. Alternatively, it could be that the way your body changes throughout your cycle means that putting in the cup the same way doesn't give you the same results. For example, one's cervix can be lower or higher in different parts of the cycle, so it's possible you could go right past your cervix on a low day if you're used to your cervix being high.
