Hello fellow cup users.

So, much like I don't believe in soulmates, I don't technically believe in Goldilocks cups. I, of course, believe there are cups that work better for a person, but I'm sure more than one cup could work. At least I'm hoping. I picked my first cup solely because it was orange (LadyCup).

Sadly, my Large LadyCup is done. I'm super bummed because I ordered back when they sold the two-packs that had a large and a small. So perfect. But they don't do that anymore. And the LadyCup website has been very glitchy lately, making me nervous to purchase from them.

I was in Walgreens the other day and saw the Diva Cup and wondered what they were like.

So, I know there are many people here who are cup collectors/connoisseurs, and would be able to give me a rundown on LadyCup vs. Diva Cup. Pretty much, my favorite thing about the LadyCup was I had an orange one. I did like how soft it was, but I could see it even being a little softer than I need. The capacity seemed fine.

Does anyone have any input on these two cups?

I found YouTube to be helpful and informative for cup comparisons - this one seems a little ramble-y but a thorough comparison of the Lady vs Diva specifically: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ciNilrXH3Y
...she *is* comparing the smaller Diva vs the larger Lady, so there's that to consider.
Meanwhile, this comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=esYCWb1UUf4&t=403s
has a lot less narration, but the woman who does these videos does a great job of trying to do an objective cup comparison. She describes her process in the intro - skip to 5:59 to get to Lady vs Diva... the whole video is super long otherwise; so many cups!
Interestingly, the 1st video describes the Lady as a lot softer, but from the 2nd video it appears the Lady is softer at the base but maybe a little firmer at the rim (maybe why it did a better job at "popping open" as the 1st video describes).
Honestly, from the comparison here, it seems like these 2 cups are a lot more similar than either of them compared to some others, but I haven't tried the Lady Cup, so I can't weigh in with personal observations. Good luck.

Using http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ or any of the many other size charts found online, you'll see that the Divas are longer than the large Lady and much longer than the small Lady.

The large Lady has several similarly sized competitors. Of the bunch, the Lady has the lowest capacity. The large Lunette is probably most similarly sized/shaped but it is a noticeably stiffer cup. Be sure to compare photos of cups that interest you. For example, the Fleurcup has similar dimensions to your large Lady but it is shaped differently. It has a blunt base -- U-shaped. Is that a change that might fit/suit you better? Or would you prefer to stick with a pointy V-shaped based cup?

I hated the Ladycup because it was so stiff.  I like Diva ok, but was a bit too long.  Fleurcup is perfect for me in size, shape, and flexibility.
