I ordered an Aneer cup (the goodness cup) there's no specs that I can find. Anyway when I can get it in correctly it fills up pretty quickly. There's measuring lines in it and overnight last night I was over the 15ml (day 1 of period) in a matter of about 6 hours. I'm a newbie and trying to insert it at 3am was not fun. I looked into the femmycycle low cervix but it says not to use if the cervix is less than 2" high. Mine is about 1". Why can't I use it??? So I need a short cup with amazing capacity! Any ideas? Thank you :)

I don't have a FemmyCycle myself, but from what I've heard, the no-spill rim can suction onto your cervix under certain circumstances, so maybe that's the problem with a very low cervix? I know that some people just cut the no-spill rim off. There's also a new cup that's very short and high capacity, the Merula cup. You can find first reviews on youtube, and one here in the comm.

If you don't like the size charts at http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ then Google for others. There are many online. If you don't have a mm ruler, then I think the Aneer has similar dimensions to the Diva. If so, try flipping it inside out to both shorten it and turn it from a pointy based cup to a blunt based one.

If the Femmycycle calls to you, then go for it. The new Merula is shaped similarly but doesn't have the funky fold-in lip. Note that the bodies are wider than the rims so rim-width measurements don't really apply.

Others you might want to compare are the large Superjennie, large Fleur and large Lunette.

Thank you! I think I am going to take the plunge with the Lena cup. I love that it is made in California and the company seems very personable. I think I need a bell shape instead of a v shape. Turns out today my cervix is at medium height so the first couple of days i'm low then normal. The small aneer worked perfectly last night and i'm hoping it works perfectly today. My flow is heavy the first 2 days then normalizes after that. So i will probably just have to empty more often the first couple days. I've never been so in tune with my period. I did track my cervix and discharge to get pregnant so i'm familiar with my body but i never thought to track my period. I really want to get the hang of inserting the cup. I'm in the bathroom for 10 mins trying to get it in. Pads and tampons are so much quicker but pads are uncomfortable and tampons get expensive. I am also going to buy some period panties. I think i'm gonna go with Thinx. I like the cheeky style since it's what I usually wear.
