Hi all,
I'm pretty new to menstral cups, on my 2nd cycle, using a juju2. I'm 36, no kids & haven't been sexually active for a bit.
I decided to get a #2 because I'm over 30 & have a very heavy flow.
I'm honestly just not sure if my cup is too wide.
I seem to have a super long & narrow vagina (I can't even reach the stem of my cup without sitting & seriously bearing down & I most definitely can't get a finger up beside the cup) so I really don't think I couldnt go down to the #1, due to flow & vagina length, but I feel concerned that it's too wide & maybe too hard.
I can definitely feel pressure, it's not necessarily painful & it wouldn't stop me using it.
I'm worried that it might cause damage?
I know our vaginas are super elastic but I'm just having a tiny freak out that I'm getting super stretched or causing bladder or bowel issues somehow.
Can anyone impart any knowledge on this? I'm I totally irrational?

A menstrual cup would not cause any damage to a healthy vagina. If you haven't noticed any other symptoms, I wouldn't worry about it. Perhaps you should look into buying a smaller cup if this one is too uncomfortable? But as to whether it could cause damage, vaginas are designed to stretch far enough to push out a baby. A menstrual cup is nothing compared to that!! ^^ Good luck and I hope you find a solution that works for you!
