Hello everyone. This is my first post on live journals so I apologize if anything is in the wrong section.

I have had a good amount of cups. I have an extremely low cervix. I am 18 years old with no kids and still a virgin.
I currently use the large luv ur body cup and I love it. Except that I always have to pee when I wear it. I can wear it at home and at night with no problems, but I cannot wear it when I wear my jeans.

I am not sure what cup to try next. I will continue to use my large luv ur body cup for nights and at home, but I need a cup that won't make me need to use the bathroom all the time. I will admit that I always seem to need to use the bathroom around my period. I think I get paranoid about it.

I am not sure whether I need to change firmness, diameter, or what. I have looked through the softness comparisons, but I still want to see what some of you think about my situation.

Any advice you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Using these http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ or any of the other size charts found online, compare your Luv Ur Body to other brands. Note that both sizes of LUB are quite long-bodied so if you can wear yours successfully, then no, you don't have a low cervix. Giving you the urge to pee is probably more a function of shape than of size.

Only you can possibly know how much longer/shorter, narrower/wider you think you'd want your next cup to be. Eliminate those that you don't think will fit you and then compare shapes and other features of those that remain.

It's also possible that you might be more susceptible to a mild UTI during period time, which is what's giving you the urge. Even though it seems counter-intuitive, drink extra water before and during your period to literally flush out your system. The extra water intake also helps with cramps and bloating.

I can feel my cervix quite easily that's why I thought it was low. It is as low as my first knuckle of my pointer finger. I think I am going to try and get another cup that is shorter or softer than the LUB. My cervix always sits down in my cups, so I know I will lose capacity, but I would rather change it more often and be able to wear it out.

Have you considered a MiaCup? It has pretty good capacity shorter than the large LUB and soft. You may like it.
