My first cup is the Lily cup. There are many things I love about it; it's easy to insert and remove, it's soft and doesn't push on my bladder. The issue I'm having is that it only stays in place on the second day of my period, which is the heaviest day so that's awesome, but the other days it's like I can't get it in far enough and it feels like it's coming out. Does anybody else use more than one cup based on their flow rate? Can my cervix change height that much during my period? The day I really need it, it works great but the rest of the time, I'm not happy about. I'm considering getting th Lily Cup Compact for the lighter days, just looking for some insight, thank you in advance.

There are plenty here who use more than one cup for there cycle, and yes it's entirely possible for your cervix to move that much during your cycle.

Normally people would flip their cup inside out for lower cervix days, but given how that's not really possible with the Lily cup then maybe you do need another cup for those days.

If I'm not mistaken, the Lily Compact isn't a smaller version of the Lily, it's a collapsible one for easier storage in your purse.

Do some measuring and compare your Lily to other brands using these http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ or other size charts. Then choose accordingly.

It's not the same shape but is made of the same material which would make me more inclined to buy it rather than a cup I haven't seen/felt.

Yeah, the Lily is just too long for you on those other days. It's an Empire State Cervix cup so it's probably too long for most people (I liked it for awhile until my fibroid grew so much that it threw my cervix off center, then the stem started poking my wall on the other side...) If you like the softness and want one cup to work on any day I'd go with the Si-Bell. The stem is very thin and unobtrusive so even if it sticks outside of you on low days, it shouldn't be too bothersome (not more than a tampon string) but you can reach the stem on high cervix days.

Thank you, I'll look into that one!
