Does anyone with soft cup experience in general, or Super Jennie experience specifically, have issues with the cup not opening to its full cup shape and therefore losing some capacity? I was happy with my ruby cup but wanted a bit more capacity, so I got a SJ large. I can get it open, but the softer bottom half of the cup seems to collapse in a bit and I'm actually having to empty it more often than my ruby. (although I technically should be getting about 7.5 more MLs)

Uhg, 30 days is not enough time to test a cup! My cycle can be up to 35 days long, and how can you tell within one cycle?

I've just used the SJ and even though I have a low, usually dangly cervix, the SJ rides high on me; maybe because it is larger, it has to move up to fit?

I am very sensitive and need soft cups, so I've gotten used to getting them to open. I usually use a 7 fold, and when inserting I make more room in my vagina by exhaling, holding the breath out, and then drawing my stomach in and up. Still holding breath, I push the cup back toward the tailbone with my thumb and let it open from the rim first, then exhale and see how it feels. This also helps ensure I catch my cervix. Sometimes this technique gets a little too much air in the cup, but it's easy to burp it out. If it doesn't feel right, I take it out, start over, and usually get it by the second try.
