Sock Be A Lady Tonight

Hello cuppers. So, I am looking into buying a couple of MeLuna's (I love my current one but it is slightly misshapen/oval now) and have a question about purchasing/shipping. I love the color options from the German site. I have never bought from the German site, though. I live in the US. Would shipping be too expensive/not worth it? If the shipping is not outrageous, I honestly do not care, but if it is going to cost more than the cup, then I can just suck it up and buy from the US site.

Keep in mind that certain colors may not be approved in the U.S which is why you don't see the same colors on both websites. And, those that aren't approved here, MeLuna may not be able to sell to you regardless of which site you buy them.

The FDA restrictions only apply if you were trying to resell them within the US. Plenty of cups are not FDA approved because they are manufactured elsewhere but we still buy and use them.

I am not an expert, but as far as I know they are just not allowed to sell them within the USA, but shipping there should be ok. There is nothing on the website saying that they can't ship to the USA, but I am sure you can check that with the German support team just to be on the save side.

Shipping costs are based on weight in the Me-Luna shop. From 0-500g it is 7,75$ and from 500-1000g it is 12,31$. I doubt you'll buy enough to go over 1000g. I can't find anything on shipping costs on the US site, so I can't compare, but it looks like the cups themselves are cheaper in Germany. On the US site one cup is 24,95$ and on the German it is 18,12$.

If its not leaking then the cup has just adapted to your body and thus not broken 👍🏼

MeLuna colors correlate to it's firmness, so the colors you don't see on the US site are likely the Soft firmness, as it is not available on the US site. I don't know why this is, but if anyone does...?

I just checked the US site and the cups are $25 each?!? Femininewear has them for $15 each and appears to have all colors & styles; also they have constant 10% off coupons under the 'Discounts and Giveaways' on the left sidebar. I'm all for direct purchase from the company, but $10 is $10. I think often manufacturers don't have the best price because having a retailer is a whole other business than making a product, so you pay that premium vs. a small business that specializes in retailing.

Weird that MeLunaUSA only offers clear and purple, classic and sport, and doesn't have the stemless option. What gives?

An oval cup does not mean it's defective or damaged, so if you need an excuse to buy another cup, level with yourself and just get it if you want! :) I'm tempted to try a soft MeLuna now, though I have 2 cups I never use (can't seem to sell them on mc-sales) and 3 that I use one maybe two of every cycle. But hey, I haven't bought pads or 'pons in like 10 years and wore out a Diva cup after 7 seven years.
