Hello all!

I just got a Lena cup and this is my second cycle using it. I'm 25, no kids and I have a high cervix, almost my whole middle finger goes in until it hits my cervix. So when I put my cup in I use all the advice I see, I pop it open right when it gets passed my pelvic bone and then slide it up give it a twist and it suctions. I run my finger around it and it's fully open and my cervix is inside.

BUT when I sit or move around too much, sneeze,I feel air get it and the seal breaks and I get major leakage shortly after inserting. Or when i sleep I will wake up in the middle of the night with leakage. I have a medium to heavy flow but my cup usually is only 1/3 full.

Is my cup too firm or not firm enough possibly? Are my muscles too strong or too weak? I have a full stem because it rides up far, could that be causing it to leak? I'm just not sure. I feel like I insert it perfectly. It's hard to continue use when I work everyday and need something reliable. But I won't give up just yet!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

I assume you have the small size. And apparently it doesn't fit you right. It's probably too short so that your cervix dangles in and takes up room where flow should go. A wider, higher capacity cup is usually the solution for that. And it's either too narrow or not the most ideal shape for you because it shifts and leaks. Or (a theory that I'm still working on) the stem doesn't allow it to sit at the correct angle when you lie down.

I had a cup that did the same. It SHOULD have fit, it SHOULD have worked. But it didn't. I sold it and got something different. Problem solved.

Using the size charts at http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ or elsewhere online, compare the cup you have to other brands. Try a different brand, a different size, a different shape. http://mc-sales.livejournal.com/ is a good place to buy/sell/trade used cups.

Yes,I have the size small. I was thinking that the stem could be affecting the position because it is long but the length doesn't bother me and it goes in so high that it didn't want to cut it. But maybe I should try that.

Lena is going to send me the larger version of the cup, so I plan on trying that and seeing if that works. What did you end up going with when your cup didn't work?

I'll look at the charts as well you provided! Thank you for the help😊
