I bought my first diva cup size 2 a few days ago. I know I'm still learning but i'm getting fed up as it just keeps leaking no matter what I do. I tried flipping inside out: leaks worse. I tried repositioning, right side, then the left, pushing it back pulling it forward. I don't know what else to do. I read most of the posts in the threads so not sure what to do next.

My cervix seems to be low. I can touch it no problem and even drag my finger around the whole base of it. i'm 37 and never had kids. the leaks don't seem to be residual as it's bright red. I do collect quite a bit into the cup but it's never full, most was only half way.

Sometimes it seems to start leaking right away other times i'll feel a queef type feeling and then leakage maybe 30 mins 45 mins after insertion. sometimes more blood then other times. my pelvic muscles are pretty strong. I can do keegles without any problems and have been for a long time.

Anything else I can try? are there certain brands better then others for low cervix?

I probably won't be much help but I'm having the same issue (I.e. Blood collecting in the cup but still leaking). I have also been told it's due to a dangly cervix although I've never really been able to find my cervix (or I have and I just didn't know because I'm not sure what it feels like). But I've been told to try a higher capacity cup so I ended up getting a complimentary large Lena cup which I'm going to try next period, and I might try looking into the Super Jennie because it has a very high capacity and apparently is very successful for people with dangly cervixes. So maybe you should try a larger cup??

I'm EXACTLY the same as you. Let me know if a larger cup works for you. I'm so...it's so disheartening sometimes :(

It turns out I needed to get used to it. I have a much better hang of it now and getting it in properly. I can tell when it's not fully opened and on less heavy days it doesn't leak anymore, on heavy days I have to empty almostevery hour which is annoying (I bleed like crazy) so I think I do want to get a higher capacity cup which I'm hoping it will help. For now I just wear a pad on heavier days. Good luck!

Bah! Sorry - I'm happy that it's working for you, but I suppose I was hoping for a clue on how to get mine to work and not leak. I'm honestly not sure how it's *not* in properly. It's fully open, but I'm still stuck with wearing a pad...

But I know it works! Like yesterday, for example - I kept going back to the loo to take it out and see try again, and then finally, FINALLY - one just stuck. I mean, I was also just wholly 'ok, I'm done' at that point so couldn't be bothered to try AGAIN, but it just...stuck. Like a magic seal. I got home late last night and everything was where it should, no leaks, no nothing.

But then I pop it in for the night, wear a pad just in case, and definitely needed it. Not a huge amount, but needed it.

I think what's so annoying is that there are times where I'm clearly getting it right, but I can't seem to make it stick.

Okkkkkkkk and now I'll stop. Suppose I needed to vent a bit!
