Has anyone heard of the Looncup? It's a new "smart" cup that comes with an app and everything. Tells you when your cup is full so you know when to empty it. Any opinions? Downside is that the battery only lasts 6 months and is not rechargeable or replaceable.

I looked at it a few weeks ago, and it sounds like the stem is not trimmable because it's an antenna, and it's supposed to hang out a little bit. I already have to use short cups without stems, so I wouldn't be able to use this, but also, who wants an antenna hanging out of them?! I am excited for it to be released so I can hear real reviews from people to see how they liked it.

The battery thing really is a huge downside. A lot of the awesomeness of the cup is not having to replace it very often and saving money on supplies. This defeats both of those cup-plusses.

That's pretty much what I thought. I'm really tempted to try it though!
