Hi! I made an LJ account just so that I could post here :P I've been lurking for a while.
This is my first cycle using a cup. I'm using the She Cup and while it's been working fine, no leaks, I'm having trouble removing it.

When i try to pinch the cup, the seal breaks only after a lot of trying. Sometimes it does break, but re-forms before i can get the cup out enough, so i get a gush of blood all over my fingers and all over the bathroom floor :( My cup has a ball stem, but it sits very low so it's not hard to reach. I'm also a virgin so I'm pretty tight in there. The last time I removed the cup, I sort of pinched the base and pulled a little, and then held on to that bit tight while I somehow inserted another finger inside and pressed the cup to break the seal. Then I pulled the semi-folded cup out. I got a gush of blood and the cup popped suddenly and fell down on the floor and...well , it was quite messy. I'm not squeamish about blood, just worried about how I'll empty the cup when I go back to school( I live in a dorm there with common loos in every floor. Right now I'm at my parents' for the holidays.) Any tips/help would be really appreciated! :)

No, I sit on the floor in the shower. I take off my pants and panties. I'm scared of dropping the cup into the toilet :( and spills are easy to clean in the shower.

That's the part I'm having trouble with. Getting air into the cup to break the seal. I cannot reach the rim, so where should I press to successfully break the seal? The whole removal process is taking me roughly 20 minutes. :( And every time i try and the seal breaks momentarily, I get these gushes. Not sure if it's blood from the cup or blood from beyond the cup.

My cup has fallen in the toilet. I haven't died. I washed it with soap and wiped it with alcohol.

I suggest removal on the toilet because it's easiest and most comfortable for me and it may be for you.

Virginity is not making removal tough, nerves are probably the culprit. That and lack of practice. Relax your jaw, relax your pelvic muscles. Take deep breaths.

And yes, read the material at the links Kuradi posted.
