I haven't looked at my cup since my last period. I have been storing it in a box with a couple tampons between periods. I haven't boiled it since I first got it in may and it was fine after. I had done a couple vinegar soaks and a couple with some peroxide. I did use a bit of coconut oil as lube my last period per precious stars pads she recs using that or water based lube. I used a bit my last period especially when it was lighter at the end. I hope I didn't ruin it I can't afford a replacement right now with xmas right around the corner. Help. The powdery residue washed off easily when I washed my cup. When I put it why I remember not really drying it just putting it away.

If you have hard water in your area, could it be mineral deposits from the water?

It could be a mold bloom.
What kind of vinegar are you using? Are you soaking it in straight vinegar for a period of time? I honestly think I helped kill my Diva with vinegar, but it was 7+ y/o and I was reacting to what I think was the material degrading which I thought was my first ever yeast infection, but wasn't.
Vinegar has a pH of about 2.4 depending on the %acidity which is on the bottle. An average vagina has a pH of 2.8 to 4.4 depending on the vagina. Maybe consider a different cleaning method, it could be damaging your cup.

It sounds like coconut oil residue. Wash it off with soapy warm water. The colder temperatures make it kind of crystalize which in summer isnt a problem but in winter it just gives a whitish power on the surface that washes or melts off :) the box should be ok to store it in but better store it when its dry

That sounds possible. I re washed it and soaked it in white vinager for an hour, put it away again and it's normal now. I must not have washed it good enough after i was done with it.

It's definitely coconut oil residue. I had it on my Lunette after trying coconut oil as lube once. The residue kept showing up and it took a lot of washings for me to clean it completely off. It's come up at least once before in this comm, which honestly was of great relief to me, since I was quite puzzled by this weird stuff that kept showing up.
