Hi all. I'm a new menstrual cup user. I've been using my small Fleurcup for 2 cycles. I love using it but I've found that it starts leaking every time when it's about only 2/3 full. The blood level is nowhere near the air holes when I take it out. When it's 1/3 full, it doesn't leak at all and it works perfectly. Anyone knows what the problem might be? Low cervix? Because the cup moves slightly upward? I've no idea. Thank you. :)

That can happen if your cervix sits in the cup. It just means you will have to empty the cup a little more frequently (the same thing happens for me).

Thank you.

Do you know if a longer cup will work better?

Yep, as newconvert said, your cervix is sitting in your cup. Having a rounder bottomed cup (like the fleur) gives you more capacity than a pointy one like lunette. The Super Jenny might give you slightly more capacity (it's about total capacity, not length). I get a little more time with the Super Jenny on my heavy days. I think there's one called luv ur body or something that has a super-high capacity, but it is also very long--so not great if you have a low cervix/short vaginal canal.

The easiest fix--empty more often. After a few cycles you'll be a pro at it and it won't be a big deal at all.

Thank you. Yes it should be capacity.

Hey kathlyne, just want to let you know that I purchased a small Super Jennie for my light days and a large Super Jennie for my heavy days. I just had my cycle and both worked like a charm. No leaks. Love the capacity and the texture. Thank you so much for telling me about this new brand. Xx

Yes, your cervix is dangling. Would a longer cup help? Maybe. Skim/Read http://kuradi8.livejournal.com/ for more details.

Cool. Thanks for the link.

Id recommend the Luv-Ur Body cup for capacity, the "swell" says it all and you dont need the width of the Jenny.

Thanks for your suggestion.
