Okay, I have a habit of tweaking things to my liking if I can't buy what I want or it's not financially feasible. I tried the diva cup, along with the temperamental leaking I apparently have a very long vagina and I could barely reach the stem when it worked its way up there. I bought the glad rags moon cup because it is the longest. It is LONG and very uncomfortable. I am afraid to cut it too short of course. So my idea: I know the benefit of these cups is no string hanging out of you but me, I like it. It's much more convenient that reaching up in you, fishing around for something slimy to grab, having my fingers cramp up on me. So what if I made a cup string? I am thinking fishing line since (I think) it can be cleaned and sanitized along with the cup. Or I work in the science field, I can probably bring home some suture material. Has anyone else tried this or am I the only crazy one?

Both Meluna and FemmyCycle have ring stems available so you could attach a string to either of those.

If the Diva is too short, have you tried the iCare? It's stupid cheap (I got one off AliExpress for $5 shipped), same body design but a much longer stem, like 83mm total length. It's also a good bit softer, which I like, and it's become my go to for preemptive might-get-my-period-today wearing when my cervix is highest. It's by far the easiest to remove out of all my cups.

hmm
no I haven't but I will look into that, there are so many options frankly I will try anything if it is cheap enough. Not sure about it being softer though. I think I have problems with the diva not opening correctly so would like something firmer that OPENS when I tell it to.
