As of lately, I have had really heavy periods, and I mean REALLY heavy.
...............
Luckily for me I found a temporary solution in the meantime which slows my period so it is managable. It's to take 550 mg of Naproxen Sodium (OTC). It lasts for around 12 hrs. and it was a Godsend to me last month! The doc told me that this should not be helping my period stop but I told her I read about it online that it is supposed to work and it was working for me. She said if that's the case it would be ok to take it.
But anyway, now you see why I am looking for the largest cup I can get.
I recently bought the Meluna XL because I heard it will hold more than the Yuuki. When it arrived, I filled the large Yuuki to the top with water and poured it into the Meluna XL and the Meluna XL did not hold as much as the Yuuki! So now I am wondering about the Luv Ur Body cup which actually has a slightly bigger diameter and is slightly longer than the Yuuki. Anyone have these cups to do a comparison?

I haven't tried it myself but in addition--if you don't mind digging a bit to remove it, because it's a little shorter--the Super Jennie has 42ml capacity. Glad you've found some help for your periods in the meantime. If there's no cross reaction between these and the Aleve, you could also try taking some natural Vitamin E (make sure it's D-Alpha tocopherol and not DL-Alpha)...I started taking these for other reasons and they've noticeably lightened my periods as well. I heard about this trick from someone in this group. I might even have a few extra bottles I could sell at my cost--I tried to sell them before my move, just ended up packing them along, and I'm almost certain I still have them somewhere.

Thanks!
Do you take the vitamins all month or just during period time? With the Naproxen I went from filling a ultra tampon and large Yuuki both in 30 minutes to filling the Yuuki about half to 3/4 full in 3 or 4 hrs. Thank God for the Internet! I don't have a lot of experience with pads so I don't know how much they hold...

Re: Thanks!
I take them all month since I'm taking them for other reasons, but I would start at least a few days before you're expected to start your period if you don't want to take them all month.
