Hi guys Im new to the whole menstrual cup community. I bought a diva cup recently. I tried to insert it but I couldn't fit it in. I'm 17 years old and haven't had sex. Can you guys help me find a cup the will fit in me. I think I have a high cervix. But my opening is small. I'm thinking about the Lena cup. But if you have better suggestions for me please tell me.
Thank you!

Which size did you get? Sizes are very subjective. I'll suggest you to insert one or more fingers, go up to your cervix and note how much space is there and how stiff is your hymen. It'll help you chose better. If your opening is much smaller than your cup even if you manage to put it in it may be hard and painful to remove.

That said I was just told to get a Lena and I'm in a similar situation so that may be a good choice :)

I got the size 1 diva cup. It's the smallest one they have. And I know my opening it really small/tight so it wouldn't fit. So should I not try menstrual cups cause in so tight?

From charts I saw online the small Diva has a diameter of 41mm, which is average for small cups. There are some even smaller ones on the market but you mentioned having a high cervix and a small cup may also be short. You also didn't mention how is your flow, smaller cup usually means lower capacity.

This site has a pretty long list of menstrual cup sizes, you may want to look at it: https://menstrualcups.wordpress.com/2010/08/19/cup-size-comparison-charts/

Are you sure you folded your cup properly? My Ladycup barely fit me, the rim actually get stuck inside but I can use it fine by been careful.

I have a pretty light flow I think. I change my tampon about every 4 hours to play it safe. Sometimes it's full and sometimes it's not. I think I'm folding it right I just think I need to find a gold to make it small. But the whenever I try I get a part in the it pops open.

You say you can't put it in because it springs open too fast? Did you try other folding methods?
I had the same problem at first because I don't have a lot of strenght in my fingers, with the C fold I had your same problem so I tried the seven fold and it went in without problems.

You should relax and take your time, using lube if needed, it may look impossible at first but try some more before deciding it's not for you.

Don't buy another cup yet. Learn to work the one that you have first. Skim/Read http://kuradi8.livejournal.com/ especially the sections about Holes and Insertion and "I'm Too Tight" which will link you to the Virgins Guide to Cups.

Then, once you figure out how to work the cup that you already have, decide whether or not you think a different one might fit/suit you better.
