Hey all! I currently have a Classic MeLuna (M) that I've been using for 5 cycles now. It works great when my flow is lighter, but I cannot get it to stop leaking on my heavy days. I'm fairly confident in saying that my cervix causes the heavy day leaks by taking up too much room in my cup. And I say that because over the months I've tried about all the troubleshooting I could: made sure it's angled right, made sure it's completely open, made sure it isn't overflowing, tried positioning it lower (then higher), tried different folds, etc.

So, I want to take the plunge and get a larger cup to solve the cervix-fluid-displacement problem and I also want to try a brand that is firmer than the MeLuna.

I'm thinking maybe the Lunette Model 2. Does anyone have a better suggestion? I've done a lot of research, but at this point, all of the brands are blending together and I'm just getting frustrated.

If you don't like the size charts at http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ then there are others at the Community FAQ. There is a link to the squishiness chart but it's a bit out of date. I don't know if anyone has made another.

Thanks for replying! I have looked at the size charts and the squishiness chart before. I'm honestly just having trouble deciding which one of the larger/firmer cups I should invest in. I feel like (and this sounds totally stupid) none of them have "spoken to me".

For what it's worth, I like my large Lunette. It's high capacity without being humungous. The only nit-picky complaint is that the measuring lines are tiny. (I had a profuse bleeding issue and needed to keep track of my loss.) Sometimes I wish for a softer cup, especially on my sensitive BLECH days but I have a Diva that I flip inside out for those. Even though I don't have a reason to distrust it, I only use that cup at home.

The Lunette comes in a larger size and is firm. It's one of my favorites.

If your cervix is taking up room in the cup I suggest a rounder-bottomed cup rather than a pointy bottomed cup to give you more capacity. I have a dangly cervix and I prefer the large fleur cup to the large lunette because I get more wear time.

I second this recommendation. The large Fleur works very well for me. It's not so much firm as it is springy; silicone is just springier than TPE.

Agree with large fleur suggestion - mine works perfectly with my dangly cervix and heavy flow (on heavy days I only empty 4 times and I've always been fine through the night) and it's one of the cheaper cups on the market. I've only had one leaking incident but that was because I was trying to get longer out of it as I was at a wedding and it was inconvenient to empty I'm my outfit. Lesson learned.

I would also recommend the large fleur, as my friend had the same problem, it was more to do with width but she also had a dangle issue, she now views the large fleur with the grip rings clipped and filled off as her goldilocks. Not bad for £8 off feminine wear!!

I don't mean to take over this post, but would the fleur work for dance/sports? I'm very active in dance, which has all the core strengthening stuff, and I don't want to crush a cup. I think I have a dangly cervix? I can feel it 2-3 inches in, and it goes in about 3 inches after that, if it makes sense. Once again, sorry about hijacking the post!! I'm completely new to cups and I'm looking to get my first one! :)

I do a lot of yoga, and I haven't had any problems with the Fleur. No guarantees of how it will work for you, but I found it is the best cup for my dangly cervix. The only leaking I get is overflow, no matter what activity I'm dong.
