Some background information about me, I'm 16 years old and I've never had anything gone inside of my vagina before except when I'm doing some lady business but that's TMI. I've done period runs with my Blossom cup about two months ago and it was so frustrating that I decided to wait until I got my period again, which began yesterday. I have a small Blossom cup if anyone has ever heard of it? I doubt it because I didn't see the company name on the side posted in Menstrual Cup brands, but I actually have no problem inserting the menstrual cup, surprisingly, it's just the popping open bit that I'm having a lot of trouble with, I've used the punch down fold since that's a small opening in which I can get into my vagina, but when I insert it into my vagina, it stays folded and will not pop open no matter what I do. I tried twisting it but yikes that hurt even though the walls of my vagina are lubed with so much blood (TMI!!)I think it's something with the holes because I inspected them a few hours ago and they're so tiny, whenever I fill the fill the cup up with water I literally have to SQUEEZE to get the water out. So how can I get the cup to open with the punch down fold? Should I enlarge the holes by using a pin fellow ladies? I'm actually debating on experimenting with other folds that have small openings, like the origami fold maybe?
One more question, there was this one time this morning where I got the cup in my vagina and my vagina literally SUCKED IT UP. I got really scared and removed it immediately cause I don't think that was supposed to happen, I want the stem of the Blossom cup outside my body not inside, and the blossom cup has one small stem might I add, thought it would be a little bigger but that's ok as I'm just starting out. Is the menstrual cup supposed to be completely in your vagina or does the stem have to hang outside of your body?
Another question, last one, how do I break the seal if I successfully get the cup inside me and want to remove it? I need a detailed explanation ladies.
Please and thank you :)
