Hey guys! Just have a few questions about my Lunette (1), and cups in general, I guess. :)

1. Will the stem break if I use it to pull out the cup? I found it very hard to get out during my "practice run"...

2. How do you know when it's fully opened? I don't have a high cervix, but I couldn't feel around the rim to see if it was open properly...

I think that's all, but I've probably forgotten something. If I have, I might edit the post later. :D Thanks so much!

The Lunette stem shouldnt break, but be sure to release the suction (press on the side to let air in) and zigzag it down (move the cup left and right as you gently draw it out walking it down) as that makes removal easier.

Not unless you're using petrolatum-based products for lube or ointment...those will break down silicone. I busted a Si-Bell stem that way (but that stem is much thinner than the Lunette stem).

1. I use my stem to pull my cup out tons of times and it doesn't break, it seems pretty strong and flexible overall. My current technique for removal is to break suction by taking one finger sliding it along the cup and compressing the cup then bear down and pull on the cup, repeat as needed until cup is low enough to fold and remove.

2. To check if it's fully open I slide a finger along the cup ((not the rim just the body) compress it then slide finger out and I can actually feel/sometimes hear the cup pop open.
