Hi, I just got a diva cup and it's my first time getting a menstrual cup. It's a size 2 cup and bought it from someone in my city who was selling them online in bulk, but I feel like I'm more of a size 1 (I'm a virgin). I was wondering whether I might fit the size 2, or whether I should just hang onto it and see if I can trade for a different one since I haven't used it yet. I guess I'd just like to find out whether the size 2 is a big difference from the size 1. Should I just try it anyways?

The large is 46x57 and the small is 43x57. Only 3mm difference in rim width, which is about the size of a 15pt diamond -- a side stone used for accent. The only way to find out is to try.

Figure out how to use the cup you have -- even if it's "unsuccessfully" meaning that it leaks or doesn't fit right. Then compare it to other brands using the size chart at http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ or any of the others found at the Community FAQ to figure out what cup might fit you better.

Diva cups have notoriously small anti-suction holes around the rim. They help with popping open and with removal. If they haven't been enlarged already, you might want to do that to yours. Other helpful hints at: http://kuradi8.livejournal.com/
