Diva Cup is a no-go...

Hello all!
I've been lurking here off and on for several months while trying to decide what to do about my menstrual needs.
I am 25 years old. I have given birth. I have to reach for my cervix always, though it is more reachable during my period.

Yesterday I bought a Diva Cup size 2, mostly because that's the only one readily available to me. I bought it fully aware that it is very large/long, but I figured that would be ok since I want only one cup, and have a very heavy flow the first 2 days of my period. I am pleased with the concept, not with the cup. I had it inserted correctly, as in I wore it with no leaks and when I removed the cup after several hours it had indeed collected menstrual fluid, so I know I had a proper seal. I am able to insert the cup completely. However, even with a proper seal and inserting the cup as high as possible, it migrates down. Like, all the way down. When I removed the cup this last time it was actually peeking out a good inch. Ouch!

So, it seems fairly obvious that the Diva Cup is toooooooo long for me, despite my cervix not being super low. Is this slippage indicative only of the cup being too long? Or would this also happen if the cup is too wide? Or too soft? Or too firm?

TIA for your help!
