Sorry for the double post, but I'm really excited because I finally got the Divacup to rotate! It has resolved most of (but did not completely eliminate) my leaking issues. I don't know if it will work for you guys, but it's worth a try, I suppose.

What I did was I inserted the cup as usual, then grabbed the base of the cup (not the stem!) and pressed on the sides ever so slightly to unseal the cup rim from the vaginal walls. I then turn my wrist in a circular motion so as to turn the cup, repeating this several times until the cup has turned 360 degrees, and what do you know, it works! The cup becomes rounder and seals better, I don't have to stick a finger up my vagina to ensure a seal, and I'm good to go!

Note that if there isn't much blood coating the vaginal walls when you do this, it might hurt a little, since there can be some friction when you turn the cup.

Let me know if this works for you!

You don't need to spin the cup. That is one of many ways to make sure it has opened fully but not the only one. According to posts here, most people can't and don't. Skim/Read http://kuradi8.livejournal.com/ and follow the links in it for other helpful hints.

I've done the create-air-channel-at-the-back-wall thing, but I find that for me, it's harder to do and more likely to leak than the spinning method, so I'm just suggesting the spin for others who have had leaking issues. But whatever works, I suppose. :)

OK, good. I'm glad it works for you. Some people think they "have to" spin the cup and then freak out when they can't.
