Hello!

I am new to the world of menstrual cups, and I really don't know why I haven't done this before! I've used cotton pads for ~14 years, and use unbleached tampons, but a cup seems like an even better option.

I've been researching options for my first menstrual cup and have read so many blogs and watched so many YouTube videos I feel like my brain is full!

I'm hoping some of you in the community can give me advice.

I am 35, no kids (yet!), my cervix seems medium-high, and I'm really not sure how strong my pelvic floor muscles are at this point. I've recently started doing PT specifically to strengthen them, and I do some yoga, but I have lost a lot of strength from having Fibromyalgia/CFS for the past 7 years. I'm guessing they are of medium strength at this point. . .

Oh, and my flow is moderate to light, so I don't think I'll need a large cup. (Do I?)

It sounds like it often takes users a few tries to find a brand they really like. I don't have a lot of money, so am looking at less expensive options like the Monzcare R-cup or one of the Yuuki cups to get started. It sounds like I might just have to get one and see how the fit is, and what firmness, length, stem, etc. I need.

Please feel free to post anything that might help.

Thank you!

The Meluna if you order through the EU website or feminine wear uk site, is around 16-20 dollars. These are great starter cups, good grip rings, different stems, different firmness, and an assortment of sizes not just size one or two
