I have the regular Lilycup and noticed there are no holes to help release the suction. I had a hard time removing the cup when I used it last because I had a hard time releasing the suction. I have a small-hole puncher that I could use but wondered if anyone had ever tried punching holes into the Lilycup with good results. I know there are other ways to release the suction without holes, but I want to make the process as easy as possible for me.

Someone awhile ago did exactly that with their Lily. Can't hurt. The user said she could still use it just fine.
There's a listing in mc_sales (http://mc-sales.livejournal.com/231552.html) for a Lily with holes punched in it.
Just want to check and see if you added holes i was thinking about doing the same since, I get a massive amount of suction/pressure and I have trouble letting air in the cup. I think holes might help but I want to check and see if you were successful before I give it ago. Thanks
I punched 4 tiny holes in them and I see no difference. In fact, they make a lot of noise now when I try to remove the cup.
I am just so fed up with menstrual cups. I tried punching holes and they did not help. This is now my third cycle trying out menstrual cups and the suction still hurts. I have no idea how you can stick 3 fingers in there to do a punch fold so that I can remove it. 2 fingers, a thumb, and a menstrual cup in my vagina? I don't see that happening. I've tried and it's painful.
Happy to report that I've been having great results with the cup these past few days. I was about to give up but found out a trick that might help others. When I fold the cup when I'm trying to remove it out of me, I use my thumb instead of my index finger to create the indent to fold. My thumb doesn't even have to go inside of me because I pull it out as far as I can first and then use my thumb. Hope this helps others.
