Hello :-)

A cup from Ireland? What a shape! http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bellecup-RHBC-Reusable-Menstrual-Cup/dp/B00M0QYQ7K/ref=pd_sim_sbs_d_5?ie=UTF8&refRID=1J8CC00R1D8XAFB6Z11B

Made of medical grade silicone, and in the text, states "Better hold and comfort".
But not any more info about this unique model.

Looks kind of phallic!

"Holds more than any other menstrual cup"...really? I can't imagine that "pinched in" shape would hold even close to the amount than a normally-shaped cup of the same length and diameter. I like the stem (reminds me of the Si-Bell) but can't imagine how that cup shape would work on anyone but those with the highest cervix.

I think it was designed by someone who doesn't actually use a menstrual cup. When I first got mine and believed the (incorrect) instructions, I also designed a cup with an indentation in the middle where the illustrations said it should be held by the PC muscle. It didn't take long before I figured out how wrong the directions and I both were.

Similarly, there are cups with drains in the stems. Whoever designed them thinks that flow is much more fluid than it actually is... kinda like that blue water that they use on TV commercials and in magazine ads. Again, not designed by anyone who actually uses their own product.

Hello hey :D
Really interesting!^

About your first paragraph : you mean that anyway, a cup will ride up deeply, beyond PC muscle?

A man named Peter (from the Rubicon Healthcare company) answered to some of my questions nicely, and will give other infos once he isn't sick anymore, I think so.. ;)

"Yes it is one size only. And softness is constant throughout the whole Bellecup.  There are no holes in the product. I will send you exact dimensions next week."

Another email from Peter!, from which I had these info :

"The dimensions are as follows:
Diameter: 4.5 cm
Height bowl: 6.5 cm
Height of tail: 4.5 cm
Capacity: 24 ml plus

The material is a soft, pliable medical grade silicon."

I asked two more questions :

"- Is the capacity of 24ml plus up to the brim of the bowl ? Maybe not..^

- If I can be very curious eff : How have you come with the idea of this specific shape?
Is the 'indentation' at about the middle of the bowl here because you took into account the fact the upper part may be filled by a 'dangly' cervix?"

His answer :

"The 24 ml marker is about 1 cm below the brim. Yes, the design is based upon the female form. It is very similar to other products of this type."
