Hey I have had a before childbirth diva cup for several years. I have always had problems with leaking the first few days of my period which are heavy.

I have now had a baby and am on the search for a replacement cup. Now wanting to go with the after childbirth size of the diva cup.

I am not sure where my cervix is, any tips for knowing how to locate would be accepted.

Any suggestions of types of cups to check out that may work better for me? Or does this just sound like I am not inserting properly?

Only you know how your Diva fits you and how much shorter/longer, wider/narrower you ould want your next cup to be. If you don't like the size and capacity charts at http://sizecharts.livejournal.com/ then there are many other versions at the Community FAQ.

That having been said, the large Fleur cup has a reputation as being a good "Mommy sized" cup. The large Lunette has the same dimensions (46x52) but is more tapered in shape (the Fleur has a more rounded, "blunt" base) and slightly stiffer. See if either appeal to you and if not, adjust dimensions and shape from there.

When your Diva Cup is leaking, is it full/overflowing, or are you leaking around the cup and not filling it? Have you tried your existing DivaCup since the birth?

It's worth checking if you have not because the pre-childbirth/post-childbirth sizes and stiffnesses of cups from the companies are fairly general and do not apply to all people.
