Hi, All.
I bought a Diva Cup about 4 periods ago. I cannot get it to stop leaking. Leaking is worst the 1st two day of my period. Then, maybe drops for the rest of the days of my period. I've read detailed posts on here and elsewhere before about folds, insertion, parts of the vagina cup should sit in, how it should "suction" to the walls. When it feels as though the cup is snug against the vaginal walls, the cup is shallowly-inserted enough to be felt when I move a few ways. When the cup is deeper than that, it leaks more, no matter which way I tilt it.
After the 2nd day of my period, it is pretty easy to get it to fit snugly, when I insert it a 1/2"-1" deeper, where it can't really be felt. It leaks very little from this day onwards.
I had my first and only child 24 months ago. I am using the size 2 (post-pregnancy). I delivered my son vaginally. I think maybe I need a shorter? mentrual cup? Do more Kegels?
I would really like to be able to stop using pads with my menstrual cup!
Thanks in advance for your valuable feedback!

It's possible that the Diva is too long for you. Flip it inside out to shorten it on your leakiest days. Skim/Read through this to see if any other helpful hints apply. http://kuradi8.livejournal.com/
